Almost every conversation we have about supplements starts with some version of the same sentence: “I want to do this right, I just don’t know where to start.”

We’ve heard it from athletes at the field. We’ve heard it from parents leaning on the fence at a Saturday morning game. We’ve heard it from people who’ve been taking supplements for years and still aren’t sure any of it is working. Honestly, we’ve said it ourselves.

So we wanted to sit down and tell you why we built our Education Platform and our Routine Guide, and who we built them for. It’s you.

Most people want to get better. They just don’t know who to believe.

The people we talk to every day care about their health. They want to think clearer, recover faster, get stronger and sleep better. They want more energy for their families and their work. Nobody has to sell them on why it matters.

Where they get stuck is figuring out who to trust.

If you’ve ever tried to learn about supplements online, you know how it goes. You type in one question and get a hundred answers. One person says take it in the morning, and the next one says never take it in the morning. Somebody swears it changed their life, and the comments underneath call it a scam. A lot of what’s out there is trying to sell you something, and the rest is written in so much science language that you close the page more confused than when you opened it.

We don’t think people have a knowledge problem. There’s more information out there than anyone could read in a lifetime. What’s missing is someone who will slow down, be honest, and explain it in a way that makes sense. That’s the gap we kept seeing, and it bothered us.

So we set out to build the source we wish we’d had.

We didn’t want to add to the noise. We wanted a place people could come to and finally feel like they were getting a straight answer.

That meant doing the slow work ourselves. Our team has spent hundreds of hours going through clinical studies one at a time and handpicking the ones that really hold up. We weren’t looking for the study with the biggest headline or the one that made our products look best. We were looking for good research that honestly shows what an ingredient can do, and what it can’t.

Everything in the Education Platform is built on that library. When you ask it a question, it only pulls from research we’ve personally reviewed and are willing to stand behind. If the evidence isn’t there yet, it’ll tell you so. We’d much rather give you an honest answer than a convenient one.

We also made ourselves a promise to keep it simple. If it takes an extra sentence to explain something clearly, we’ll write the extra sentence. You shouldn’t need a science degree to take care of yourself or your kids.

If we wouldn’t say it to our own families, it doesn’t go on the platform.

Taking a supplement and getting the benefit aren’t the same thing.

This is the part almost nobody talks about, and it’s a big reason we built all of this.

You can buy a great product, take it every day, and still miss out on a lot of what it can do for you. That’s usually not because you did anything wrong. It’s because nobody ever told you the little things that make the difference.

Timing is one of them. Some ingredients do their best work before you train, and others are made for the evening when your body is winding down and recovering. Take the right thing at the wrong time and you might only get part of what you paid for.

Absorption is another. Some nutrients absorb much better with a meal, and some need a little fat alongside them to be absorbed well at all. Others do better on an empty stomach. Get that part wrong and a lot of what you take never really gets put to use.

Then there’s pairing. Some ingredients work better together, and some compete with each other when you take them at the same time. Knowing what goes with what lets you build a routine where everything is working for you instead of against itself.

You work hard for your money. If you’re going to spend it on your health, we want you to get every bit of value out of it, and we want you to actually feel the difference.

What we really want is to see you at your best.

When you strip everything else away, this is what’s left. We want people to get the most out of themselves.

Maybe that’s staying locked in through a long day at work or in class. Maybe it’s putting more weight on the bar, bouncing back quicker between games, or finally sleeping through the night. Maybe it’s just having something left in the tank when you walk in the door at the end of the day for the people you love. Supplements, taken the right way and paired with good habits, can be a real part of helping you get there.

They aren’t magic, and we’ll never tell you they are. But used the right way, they’re a real tool, and we want every person who trusts us to get the full benefit of it.

Real life doesn’t run on a perfect schedule.

Once people started learning with us, a new question kept coming up. Players asked it, parents asked it, and plenty of busy adults asked it too. It usually sounded something like, “This all makes sense on a normal day, but what do I do when my day isn’t normal?”

Here’s a real one. A young ballplayer has been in a great rhythm for three weeks. He trains at the same time every day and takes his supplements at the same time every day, and everything is clicking. Then he leaves for a tournament in Florida that runs all week. Monday he plays at 8 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. Tuesday it’s noon and 7 p.m. His whole schedule just got flipped upside down, and he and his parents are left wondering what moves, what stays the same, and when he should be taking what.

Or think about a mom running a busy household. She has her own early workout and a full workday. Her oldest has practice right after school, her youngest has a game Saturday morning, and her husband is up before the sun most days and on the road for work the rest. Everyone in that house is living a different day, and she’s usually the one keeping track of all of it. Asking her to also remember who takes what, and when, on top of everything else is a lot.

Those are the questions we wanted to help with. For a long time there just wasn’t anywhere to get real answers to them, so we built one.

The Routine Guide builds your supplements around your life instead of the other way around. Rather than tying everything to the clock, it anchors your routine to the things that actually shape your day, like when you wake up, when you eat, when you train or play, and when you go to bed. For the ballplayer, his routine follows his game times, whatever they happen to be that day. For the mom, she can lay out the whole family in one place, her day, her kids’ days and her husband’s, so everybody has a simple plan that fits the day they’re really living. When the week changes, the plan changes with it, and she doesn’t have to start from scratch. All of it runs on the same research behind the Education Platform.

We know everyone’s life looks different, and almost everyone’s life is busy. Tournament weeks, travel days, double shifts, early mornings and late nights. Doing things right shouldn’t go out the window just because life got hectic. If anything, that’s when a good plan helps the most.

And to the parents reading this, we built it with you in mind. We know how much you want to get it right for your kids. Our guidance is always meant to work with your family’s doctor, never in place of them.

Why we built it

We built the Education Platform and the Routine Guide because we want to be the most honest and reliable place you can turn to for your supplements, your health, and your kids’ health. Somewhere you never have to doubt.

Trust isn’t something you get to ask for. You earn it, one honest answer at a time. That’s why we read the studies ourselves, why we keep things simple, and why we’ll tell you the truth even when the truth is that a product probably isn’t right for you.

We’re not here just to sell you a bottle. We started The Collection because we want to see people win, feel better, and become the best version of themselves. Every hour we’ve put into this was for whoever ends up reading it.

Thank you for trusting us. We don’t take that lightly, and we never will.

With gratitude,
The Collection Team
